STATOR CORE WELDING

As a professional motor core manufacturer, we are able to offer various assembly services, including welding, cleating, backlack/bonding varnish, etc. We are able to provide welding assembly services from large wind/hydraulic generators to 80 frame motors. Our advanced equipment and skilled technicians ensure the quality of our welding.

TIG MIG MAG

welding

TIG welding (tungsten insert gas welding) is a welding method in which pure Ar is used as the shielding gas and the tungsten electrode is used as the electrode. It is characterized by good welding quality. Since no flux is used, it can reduce the chance of slag inclusion and improve the quality of the weld joint while stator stacking.

MIG uses the arc burning between the continuously fed welding wire and the workpiece as the heat source, and the gas sprayed from the welding torch nozzle protects the arc for welding. The shielding gas commonly used in MIG welding is argon, helium, carbon dioxide, or a mixture of these. MIG is a commonly used welding method when welding high-voltage stator cores.

MAG welding is a mixed gas shielded welding by adding a small amount of oxidizing gas (oxygen, carbon dioxide, or mixed gas) to argon. MAG welding is mainly suitable for the welding of ferrous metals such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, which are the material of accessories of HV motor stators.
