Single Notching

The outer diameter of the largest punching sheet we produce is as high as 1250mm, which is currently the largest width of silicon steel coil we produced. 

Single notching is one of the crafts that we are good at. It's particularly suitable for medium & large size Motor Lamination production.

The slots of the Stator Core or Rotor Core are often designed to be skewed, for the purpose of offsetting the tooth harmonics during the operation of the motor. Rotary notching is very suitable for the production of this type of motor lamination, it is fits large size motor production perfectly.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

We can produce some very special laminations, because all of our CNC single notching presses have a high precision positioning system and indexer, which can control every action of the machine.

The tool only cuts one slot on the round sheet at one time in the process of single notching, the total number of cuts are equal to the number of slots on the lamination. 

APPLICATION & COST

The speed of single notching is a little slow, the time to produce a lamination are from a few seconds to tens of seconds. What's better is that more than half of our CNC presses are equipped with automated production systems, and the tool cost of it is very low, which are suitable for low-to-medium volume production or prototype development. These devices can greatly reduce production costs while ensuring production speed.

Under normal conditions, although there are not too many types of slots on the stator or Rotor Lamination, and each slot needs a specific tool to stamp, the production time of the mold is only one to two days, the overall cost of the tool is also very low.
